Still cold and we are to get more snow today :( I have been working on my custom orders and trying to get my studio clean up. When we moved to the farm 3 years ago the studio was the first room to get "put" together. I was doing the ren fair then and had to get ready for it. Well 3 years later it is still "put" together. I am making beads full time now and Willow is going to be in the studio with me so I need to make the rooms nice. Lucky for us my studio is really two rooms so Willow will have a play room with a tv and toys in a separate room. The generator is kinda loud so this will let her sleep in peace. We are headed to the studio for the day in a little bit. I wil post some pictures when I am finished. Have a great day :) I am hoping for NO more snow. Spring we are ready for you.

It was warmer today, in the high teens for us :) I am going to spend my weekend cleaning the studio and making beads. I want to make beads Sat and Sun and start being more diligent with my beading. Have a great weekend. :)

It is raining on the farm this morning. On top of 18" of snow, rain is the last thing we need. I am happy that it's going to be warmer today. The temp has been in the low teens for a high for so long 30 something feels like a heat wave. I made my first boro beads on my minor yesterday and I am excited to get to the studio and see how they turned out. Making more beads today, soft glass,. I am doing really well on Sparkpeople, lost 4lbs already :) I signed up for a audio book rental site. For $15 a month I get unlimited audio book. That is less than buying just one from the store. Some great news :) Tyler and Ashley are getting married. June 21st 2008 is the day they have picked out. It is going to be a simple wedding at this cute wedding chapel. The reception is going to be at the Galena winery. Tyler asked Brian to be his best man :) I have started a diet program , you might want to check it out www.sparkpeople.com . I am reading the Golden Compass right now. I can wait to see the movie if it is anything like the book. Nothing planed for tonight except watching Lost. Have a great day :)

Our latest snow storm seems to have missed us, they said we were suppose to get 3-6 inches last night. On top of the 18+ inches we already have would have been bad. I can't wait untill spring comes. We are getting the seed and plant catalogs in the mail and it makes me want to start planting. I have some ideas for the yard this year. I very good friend Mary have started a blog. Willow and I went on an adventure at the end of January to the Chicagoland area. I took a class in Boro glass, also known as "hard" glass. My beads up to now have been made out of Moretti glass or "soft" glass. Boro is worked alittle differently and much hotter than Moretti. The class was two days long-eight hours a day, but it went so fast :) I made some cool things but need alot of practice on my implodions. Here is a picture from the class, it's me and Shari. I am the one in the black :) My sister and Brother in law, let us stay by their house while we where in town. Tamra needed her Willow fix :) lol. She even had a jewelry party for me on Friday night and I sold something to almost everyone that came:) She took some great pictures of Willow

I can not believe it is already Feb 7th, where has the year gone :) January had me very busy teaching classes and making beads. We are trying to do some home updates, working on the upstairs bathroom right now. Work has been crazy with the girls going to Tucson. That's a good problem so I won't complain. Winter has been cold and snowy, we got 18 inches yesterday. Willow is going so quick, I will try to post some pictures soon.
