I finished Willow's room today. She is a big girl now with her own fairy room. I will probably not get any pictures taken untill next week. I teach an Art Clay class tomorrow at Galena Beads. Bead making was not in the cards this weekend. Thursday is going to be my day for torching,, nothing is going to get in my way. Vintaj has been so busy I needed to up my hours to four days a week. We keep growing every month. How great is that. Look for new great things in the near future. I am off to bed. Long day.

The weather was pretty good this weekend so we tried to get as much of the outside winterizing done as possible. Still have a ton to do , hope it stays warm a bit longer. Made a bunch of beads for Galena beads this week. I did some Art Clay also. I have another class coming up this Sunday. We are still working on Willow's room. The trim needs to be cut and nailed up. Then we can paint it. After that I can put up the border. Lay the rug and put up the curtains. It is going to look so cute. I need to run quick , lol, to Dubuque tomorrow. I am laughing because no matter how much we try to make it a quick trip it always seems to last allllll day. Vintaj is great, we are so busy. I need to start getting ready for Teri's show at the end of November. I haven't seen her since last year at her show. Everyone is just so busy. Here is a picture of Willow I had taken for her 1st birthday.

An update on all that has been going on at the farm since my last update. The fair ended for 2007, I did go up to get the balance of my money from the renter. Willow and I had a great day playing tourest, saw some shows and did some shopping. I also can't remember the last time I entered in the front gate :). Very strange. Brian and I spent the weekend at my dad's house , with what we thought was the last of the stuff. No such luck, we still have to make one more trip out there. I can't wait untill this chapter is done. I don't want to look at more stuff for a very long time. I think I could become a miminalist with no problem after this adventure. I have stoped working at Galena beads except for teaching my classes in Art clay. It was just too hard working every weekend. My beads and jewelry are still for sale at the store. With weekends off now Brian, Willow and I were able to do some stuff around here. We saw a Civil War reenactment, The Fort in Apple River and I was able to go to the Country Fair in Grant park. It was very hot that weekend but fun. This weekend we went on a Mississippi river boat ride on a paddlewheel. The ride was four hour long and we had lunch. It would have been better if the fall color had been out , probably next week. Willows room is almost finished. We are adding the trim and boarder. I don't know if we will get a large area rug or lay carpet. I am leaning to area rug. A couple of stray dog got on our property last week and kills all but 3 of the chickens. I am not sure what we are going to do about this problem. I have heard that electric fences are good at keeping the chickens safe. After the coop is finished we will have to check into them. Cutting wood is another big winter project that has to be done before it gets cold. I just hope we don't have to buy to much wood this year.
I am still making beads, sorry I haven't posted any to the site or on Etsy. Vintaj and the bead store buy them before I get a chance. I am not complaining , it just I haven't been able to get them up. I am working at Vintaj 3 days aweek now. I am able to bring Willow so it is working out. Today I am spending the entire day at the torch to hopfully get a good supply. Their are three orders I have to get out and if I am luckly there will be some to post :) I will try my best.
Monday is Tylers Birthday he is going to be 23, WOW how time flys. He is doing really well. Recently he got a job back in the kitchen cooking at one of the best resturants in town. He said he was ready to get back in the kitchen. Working tons of hours but that keeps him out of trouble lol. Tyler is off on Tuesday and so am I so for the last couple of weeks we have been heading to Dubuque. We run around in the morning and them we have lunch together. Ashley has been joining us too. Since he is working on his birthday we will be celebrating it on Tuesday. I think he wants cell phone for his present.
My beads are on the cover of the book project we have been working on. It is going to be coming out in March of 08. You can preorder it on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Wire-Jewelry-Workshop-Techniques-Working-Beads/dp/0896896684/ref=tag_dpp_lp2_edpp_ttl_in/103-8377857-3657453
