Hello, and happy new year :) The end of 2006 was filled with many interesting things. I did my friend Teri's show and as usual it was a big success. The day before I drove to Chicago my son called me and said that him and his girl friend where breaking up and could he move in with us. I said sure and it's your lucky day as I will be in the area tomorrow for the show. Chicago is 3 hours from Scales Mound. Picked him up with all of his things and we drove to the farm. He was able to get a job the very next day. :) . Most of the jobs are in Galena and being at this is the country you can not walk and there really isn't a public transportation system out here, so we needed to get him a car. Brian and Tyler went out the next weekend and found him a 2000 Chevy truck. It was great we could all get to and from work. Tyler even found a second job at night at a gold course in Stockton. So he is coming home at about 11 on the 23rd of December and it's dark ,, no street lights, and slick and foggy. Driving down the road and he comes to a "T" intersection and doesn't turn. He was ok except for a broken nose and being a banged up a bit. They towed the car and as of yet we are still waiting to here from the insurance company about repairs. So moving on to X-mas. We went to the burbs to see the family. Stayed at Brian's sister Tamra's house, and then on to his uncle John's house for dinner. I have to say it was a great holiday but traveling with Willow was taxing. We had to bring so much stuff. Every was so happy to see her again so it was worth it. Back home and then the new year which brough a nasty virus to the house that kept us in bed for a couple of days. The new year has started out with a bang and we are suppose to get a bunch of snow tonight. :) I do have pictures to post but I need to size them. Big new though for all of you who have been reading for a while ,, I did get the dinning room chair recovered after over two years. I hope to get the recaining done this coming week. I will post some picture when they are finally done. Have a great day.
