Baylie our border collie took the other two dogs for a "walk" and they haven't come back yet. We have looked for them and talk to the "neighbors" ,,remember we live in the country now lol. Nothing yet. If they don't show up by Monday I am going to call the pound and see what they have. Send out good energy that they come home soon and safe.

Morning everyone out there. I am heading to the studio to clean beads and work on some art clay :) The opening at the Bead Bar was such a success. Morning everyone, I just finish listing some more auctions. Yes there are beads along with some stuff !!!! I am heading out to the studio with a stop by the goats, lol. Going to an after hours event at the Bead Bar tonight. We are promoting the Art Clay classes. E.R is winding down. I will miss it but will be glad when I don't HAVE to be home by 9 on Thursdays lol.

BEAD GIVE AWAY

And here is the update for this weeks bead give away, sorry it is so late but as you can see I have had a pretty buzy day. I even came home from the show, diped mandrels and finished a piece of stained glass. That was after I took the baby goats for a walk :P

The fibre art show was so cool,, I dyed some yarn and the drun carding class was great. We took plain washed wool and put it in the carder and "carded" it , after wards it is called batting and then it is ready to be spun. You can combine colors and silks to make the most beautiful combinations. I think I could card all day and not get bord with all the color combos, I meet some wonderful women.www.susansfibershop.com here is one of them. I traded with her two of my knitting needles , button and a bead for some books and a spindle . I would love to take a class with her.
here is the yarn I dyed ,, it is purple and teals,, are you surprised lol


and here is the wool I carded, they are all a combination of at least three different colors.

I just finished putting some new beads in the gallery page, hope you like them. Brian just let for the city (Chicago)to pick up some things and I am getting ready to head to a fibre art show. I am going to dye some wool and learn how to drum card. I am going to bring my knitting needles and some small beads to show some of the vendors. Good morning everyone, The class was great and we made some very cool stuff. I can't wait to start teaching on a regular basis. We went to taco Thursday last night, fun time was had by all. Finally got to see a new E.R.
I will be sad when it is over for good. Need to go and clean the beads and get them posted.

Afternoon everyone, I am heading off to get ready to go and teach an Art silver class at the Bead Bar,, my favorite place. I did work in the studio some today. I made some beads and finished a stained glass piece.

Spent the afternoon yesterday working on the new goat house. It was a storage "unit" for junk and trash so it seems :( almost cleaned out so we can start to make any repairs before the babies move it. Morning Ya'll,, hahahah. any ways I am headed to bring in the laudry from the line and put out another load. Then I am heading to the studio with a bee line for the goats :). On a sad note yesterday we lost one of the chicks :( so we only have 12 now. Kayla the rot is still a freak for the goats and for some reason thinks they may be her puppies ???!!! crazy dog. I will be doing some computer work tonight and starting something new and exciting , so check back to see what it is !!!Have a great day everyone.

Dave is great he gets Chocolate cake, acually he is getting brownie's. Thanks so much Dave you rock !!!!! I am very happy. Great day today,, got up played with the goats,,, :) did some fusing, cleaned alittle :( played with the doggys, played with the goats, :) set up for the chicks,, played with the chicks:) hope to do a repeat tomorrow.. I don't think I will beable to though. Brian is off tomorrow, I don't know why but something broke there and most everyone is off. He is going to have to work Saturday though. So we are heading to Dubuque to price tires for the cargo van. Fun fun fun,, he really needs them as it's the van he drives and since it's down he is driving mine :( I should have pictures of the chicks tomorrow , I have a bunch of bead pictures to upload. So hopfully if Dave takes pity on my poor uncomputer knowing soul I will beable to post them here.

OMG I can blog again,, HI everyone so much to tell.

Did a show this weekend, Didn't do as well as I had hoped, but as you can read here I did get to see my friends Skye and Dave. They had a baby back in December and with all the craziness of moving I had not been able to get up there. So I visited and Dave fixed my site up and fixed the blogger problem.

I have new Beads and they will be posted tomorrow, here and on ebay. so come check them out.

NOW for the best news. I GOT GOATS TODAY !!!!!
Their names are Tatum and Mairead. Tatum is a full pygmy and Mairead is half pygmy and half dairy goat.
and are they the cutest things you ever saw. We made them a little area in the pole barn, untill they get a little bigger. They are about 4 weeks old. Tatum is so little she is about 12" high. Mairead is about twice that size.
Here they are ,, btw we get the chicken tomorrow lol
